KH II Public Relations

A Dynamic Speaker… A Public Relations Socialite… A Two-Time Distinguished Author… An Entrepreneurial Sensation… An agent of Change for her generation and the next… She is,… Kristen Hopkins.

Holding a Bachelors of Arts degree in Public Relations from Delaware State University, Kristen continues to surge into capacities of greatness, where she has undoubtedly touched and enhanced many lives, by the extraordinary things that she has done, and is currently doing. At the tender age of 21, Kristen landed a position with Cronin and Company, one of the top rated advertising firms in Connecticut, where she became ladled with many experiences that prepared her for the start of her own company, KH II Public Relations, just a few years later. This opened many doors of opportunity for her personal growth and development, and drove her into new and exciting expansions in her life.

After functioning as the Principal partner and Chief Creative Officer of KH II Public Relations, Kristen has made outstanding impacts in a range of spheres that have catapulted her into success in leadership, both regionally and globally. This has afforded her the prestige 30 and Under Award for Women of Excellence in Leadership, from Brooks Consulting in Atlanta, Georgia, and the rare opportunity to collaborate with Russel Simmons, for the Ethics of Understanding Foundation, in the pursuit of providing equality amongst multicultural future leaders.

As a young leader, Kristen’s view of the world was heightened as she made her mark on a global scale during her temporary relocation to Beijing, China, working for the 2008 Olympics as a flash quote reporter. This experience advanced her to a place in her life, where she could be stretched outside of her comfort zone, by forcing her to adapt to a new way of living, which included, but was not limited to, having to learn basic Mandarin. Kristen was able to rise above every obstacle while living abroad, and was selected amongst her peers to attend The Washington Center, shortly after her return to the United States. During her tenure there, she was employed by Tricom Associates, a Government Public Relations Firm, which presented the opportunity to assist with the International Association of Firefighters Convention with former Vice President Joe Biden, as the guest speaker. Kristen’s outstanding skills and dedication also made way for her to be able to help coordinate the merger between Delta and Northwest Airlines film, for the Association of Flight Attendants Union, as well as serve on the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, HBCU Consortium committee, the City Club of Buckhead and the Chinese American Association of Atlanta.

Kristen launched a new lifestyle brand, Dangers of the Mind, LLC. and the first phase of this brand was the publication of her book, entitled “Dangers of the Mind”. This brand not only identifies the common Dangers of the Mind that most people encounter daily, but also Kristen implements concepts and strategies to help battle the attacks against your everyday thought life. She has expanded this brand to speaking, virtual coaching sessions, clothing line, Danger Zone Power Calls and the newest edition is her social and emotional literacy curriculum for 6-12th grade. Kristen recently won the 30 and Under award for Women of Excellence in Leadership from Brooks Consulting in Atlanta, GA and she had the opportunity to collaborate with Russel Simmons for the Ethics of Understanding Foundation in the pursuit of providing equality amongst multicultural future leaders.

Kristen has been a guest speaker at Delaware State University’s Mass Communications Department Media Day Panel, Georgia State University’s Discussion with a Publicist Seminar, Moore Middle School’s Career Day, Georgia State University, University of Georgia Infinite Appeal’s Fashion Retreat, and University of Georgia NABJ, The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, Georgia Trio Program, Sekumono School in Accra, Ghana and many more. Kristen holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Public Relations from Delaware State University and currently is on the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation and HBCU Consortium committee. She is a member of the City Club of Buckhead and Chinese American Association of Atlanta.

One of Kristen’s favorite quotes is, “Success is a journey, not a destination.” She has, without fail, kept this at the fore front of her mind and life, and has continued to let it chart her course as she navigates into greater channels of influence and impact.

"Speaking is what I love. Speaking is what I do. Speaking is how I help. Speaking is how I heal. Speaking is who I am. I was created for the people.. I was designed for you!" -Kristen Hopkins.

Driven by enthusiasm and a desire to see others live up to their fullest potential, Kristen undertook the task of writing and publishing her first book, Dangers of the Mind (DOM), which has remarkably revolutionized her lifestyle brand, and presented further opportunities to touch and change lives. Using this brand, Kristen has helped to identify the Dangers of the Mind that people encounter daily, and has implemented concepts and strategies to help combat the attacks against everyday thought life. As a result, she has also written and published a Dangers of the Mind (DOM) 30-Day Affirmation Challenge edition, as a practical way to enhance thought life through the power of speaking positively into the atmosphere daily. Dangers of the Mind has been presented through speaking, virtual coaching, Danger Zone Power Calls, a clothing line and more.

This mission has been the power behind the newest edition of the Dangers of the Mind campaign, which is the Social and Emotional Literacy Curriculum, catering to students from Grades 6 – 12. Through this program that was designed to target and increase positive thinking in youth, and infused through the education system, students are given the keys to a brighter future and greater possibilities of being successful.

Dynamic speaking from the Dangers of the Mind platform has afford Kristen the opportunity to grace the stages as a guest speaker at Delaware State University’s Mass Communications Department Media Day Panel, Georgia State University’s Discussion with a Publicist Seminar, Moore Middle School Career Day, Georgia State University, University of Georgia Infinite Appeal’s Fashion Retreat, and University of Georgia NABJ. Kristen was also able to present her message at The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, Georgia Trio Program, and Sekumono School in Accra, Ghana.

Kristen has recently constructed and developed her mission which is:

To reach, teach and build a strong system of future pioneers that will be able to harness their internal power and catapult them into their rightful purpose.
